Joint PhD in Educational Studies Route
Our Joint PhD in Educational Studies program combines coursework, research, and your dissertation. This learning experience prepares you to be a leader in Educational Studies while offering you the flexibility to learn as well as contribute to knowledge that is meaningful to you.
To receive your Joint PhD in Educational Studies, you must complete 10.0 full course equivalents (FCE). To gain the required credits, you must complete courses, your comprehensive portfolio, and your dissertation.

Note: Lakehead University only offers the Joint PhD in Educational Studies with a full-time designation. Students have 18 terms (six years) in which to complete the program
