Event Location:
ONLINE

The CARWH Board is offering an on-line workshop series! Our second session will focus on the challenges and opportunities of engaging in knowledge translation work during COVID-19, and will feature a panel of four dynamic speakers. Panelists will briefly describe on how they are approaching KT in 2020 and beyond, and some of the ways in which their work has been challenged by our pandemic-influenced world.

The speakers are Dr. Joy MacDermid (Distinguished University Professor, School of Physical Therapy, University of Western Ontario), Ms. Sara Macdonald (Manager of Knowledge Transfer and Exchange at the Institute for Work & Health), Dr. Sonja Senthanar (Postdoctoral Fellow, Partnership for Work, Health and Safety, University of British Columbia), and Dr. Vicki Kristman (Associate Professor, Department of Health Sciences, Lakehead University). The panel will be moderated by Dr. Cheryl Peters (Research Scientist, Cancer Epidemiology & Prevention Research, Alberta Health Services).

This is the second installation in our series of sessions that aim to create a more dynamic and connected CARWH membership. We will be seeking feedback from attendees on the content of this and future sessions.

Who should attend: Canadian researchers, graduate students and collaborators in the field of work and health. Note: Zoom link provided by email closer to the date.
