“I was drawn to lakehead by the small class sizes and opportunities for undergraduate research. In my final two years, I completed an honours thesis project. For this, I worked closely with my advisor and assisted lab mates in Ontario amphibians’ ecology field studies. This valuable experience provided insight into the scientific process and an advantage in postgraduate applications.
