Programs to Help you Find your Voice
As part of the Department of Aboriginal Education, our Native Language Instructors’ Program (NLIP) works to make learning and instructing a Native Language accessible to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal learners. We offer many programs that help you to use or teach a First Nation language effectively.
Our Native Language programs help you to learn a Native language, but also learn about its cultural, historical, and sociological importance. Once you complete a Native language program, you will have the knowledge to use a Native language or the qualifications to teach others.
