The Philanthropy Unit is responsible for the Lakehead Annual Fund, Legacy Giving and Major Gifts at Lakehead University.

Advancement Investment Model (AIM)

The Advancement Investment Model (AIM) funds help Lakehead University strengthen its ability to engage alumni, steward donors and grow philanthropic support.  By investing a modest portion of eligible gifts into advancement activities, AIM helps expand fundraising capacity, enhance donor and alumni experiences, and create sustainable resources that generate greater support for students, research and university priorities.  Every AIM investment is designed to increase Lakehead's long-term philanthropic impact and strengthen the University's ability to advance its mission.
