University Advancement (UA) supports the University by cultivating and stewarding relationships that generate philanthropic investment for institutional priorities, student awards, and financial aid.

UA is committed to transforming regions and communities while reinforcing the University's position as a leading comprehensive research-intensive university.  

Through donor and alumni generosity, UA drives annual and legacy giving, fosters alumni engagement and community partnerships, and builds relationships. We recognize the Board of Governors, Alumni Association and alumni network as key advocates for advancing student success and community development, while philanthropic engagement with donors serves as a critical catalyst for the University's goals of expanding student opportunity and strengthening financial stability.
