Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism


Lakehead boasts a one-of-a-kind Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism program—a unique blend of theoretical as well as applied learning in the pristine natural environment that Lakehead calls home. This program involves interaction with experts in the field as well as technological elements such as geographic information systems, computer programs and multimedia/video. With a wide variety of possible degree combinations, Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism offers a one-of-a-kind concentration in Nature-Based Therapeutic Recreation, as well as double degree options with Geography, History, Women's Studies, and Natural Science (Biology).
