Sweat Lodge Ceremony

Lakehead University Sweat Lodge Site 

Elder GENE NOWEGEJICK, will be conducting a Sweat Lodge Ceremony on Friday, April 5th, 2024 starting at 3 pm at the Lakehead University Sweat Lodge site. Wear loose clothing, such as t-shirts, shorts and long skirts. Be sure to bring a towel. Participants are encouraged to bring the Elder a tobacco offering which is available at ISSC (UC1007). If you are on your moon time you must not participate in the Sweat Lodge Ceremony or handle ceremonial items.
