Dillon Brian Muldoon
Research and Extension Intern
Dillon obtained his MSc Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph in 2020. His research focused on agroecology, pest management and pollinator conservation in the Holland Marsh. He received his B.Sc. Honours from Trent University in Sustainable Agriculture in 2017 with a focus on Entomology and Community Food Systems. Before that he completed his Red Seal in the culinary industry where he worked with regional producers to procure local ingredients for his kitchens.
Dillon has a passion for agriculture and food systems and has a broad range of research interests including Agroecology, Sustainable Production, Community Food Systems, Integrated Pest Management, and Agricultural Education and Outreach. He is excited to be discovering more about agriculture in Northwestern Ontario and to have the opportunity to work with the LUARS Team. Dillon’s position at LUARS is funded by FedNor!
