Dr. Dariush Ebrahimi received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India in 2000, the Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Kuwait University, Kuwait in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2016. 

After Ph.D. graduation, Dr. Ebrahimi worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Computer Science at UQAM (Universite du Quebec a Montreal) for a few months. Then, in September 2017, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo until he joined Lakehead University as an Assistant Professor in August 2019.

Dr. Ebrahimi is the recipient of multiple prestigious awards such as full Ph.D. scholarship award from Concordia university in 2011, and postdoctoral fellowship award from the Quebec Research Fund - Nature and Technologies in 2017. His research interests include wireless networks, cloud and edge computing, vehicular networks, algorithm design, optimization, internet of things, and machine learning.
