Academic Qualifications: 

Irfan Butt received his PhD from Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada. He is currently based at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Canada. Prior to that, he has taught at the Sultan Qaboos University, Oman and Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan. His research interests include manufacturing and marketing interface, consumer behaviour, and digital marketing. His research has been published in several academic journals including International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Travel and Tourism Marketing, Social Responsibility Journal, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Marketing Review, International Journal of Technology Management, Journal of Global Business Advancement, Journal of Islamic Marketing, and Journal of Teaching in International Business. He has also presented his work at several academic forums such as American Marketing Association, Administrative Sciences Association of Canada, and Australia-New Zealand Marketing Academy. 

Irfan has taught a number of marketing and research courses at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels. He has a particular interest in advanced methodology for academic research. He also specializes in business simulation as a teaching pedagogy.
