The Department of History in conjunction with the Alumni Association will be handing out its 2014 departmental awards to celebrate the accomplishments of our distinguished graduates. We will also be recognizing an organization and individual with our departmental community partnership awards.
Honoured this year will be Elinor Barr (BA 1974, HBA 1989), Mark Chochla (BA 1967, HBA 1975), Beth Boegh, and the City of Thunder Bay Archives.
The event will be held 7 October 2014 between 11:00am and 12:00 pm in the Study Coffee House, Lakehead University (above the University Bookstore).
Beverages and snacks will be served.
