Previous Teaching/Work:
Dr. Raffo instructed as a Continuing Contract Lecturer for the History Department and Continuing Education and Distance Learning. His courses included "The Making of the Modern World", "The Hitler State", "International History n the 20th Century", and "Peace Movements in the 20th Century".
Research Interests:
Dr. Raffo's current main research interest is in Local History and the development of Oral History Collections. In 2009, Dr. Raffo published "Responding to Unmet Needs: 125 Years of Care in the Community, A History of St. Joseph's Care Group 1884-2009". Previously in 2005, he published "From Institution to Community: A Transformation of Psychiatric Services, [Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital] 1934 - 2004".
