SSHRC Insight Development Grant Information Session

Dear Lakehead University SSHRC-Eligible Faculty Member:
Do you plan on applying for a SSHRC Insight Development Grant this winter? Do you want a better idea about how the application review process works at SSHRC? If so, you are invited to attend a SSHRC Insight Development Grant Information Session on December 2 from 1-3 in ATAC 3004 (Orillia faculty members can participate in OA 3041). At this workshop, a Lakehead University faculty member, Dr. Lisa Korteweg, Faculty of Education, with experience chairing and serving on SSHRC Insight Development Grant review committees will share her knowledge regarding:
- The review process at SSHRC.
- What makes for a strong application?
- What are Common pitfalls to avoid?
- Highlighting Aboriginal research at SSHRC
Faculty members are also encouraged to bring their questions about the SSHRC review process to this discussion. If you are able to attend, please e-mail Andrew Hacquoil at ahacquo1@lakeheadu.ca by November 30.
