About the Event

The ongoing digital transformation has disrupted nearly every industry and all aspects of the ordinary life. Patient engagement backed by the advanced information technologies in the medical service delivery process has been greatly changed, which has even more profoundly reconfigured the medical service industry. In this research, we study the cases from US, China and Canada on patient engagement to explore the emerging trends, and we discuss important theoretical insights on business model innovation implied by this vibrantly changing industry.  

 

About the Speaker

Xue HanXue Han, Ph.D., is a post-doc fellow at Lakehead University, with a research focus on the topics of innovation, strategic and technology management. She has published more than 30 papers in top peer-reviewed journals and national newspapers, as well as a book on the sectoral innovation system of solar photovoltaic sector. Another book on the multi-sided platform on e-health is forthcoming too. She has been awarded research funding from federal and provincial sources, including from the Quebec Research Fund for the projects on e-health.
