Mitacs Information Session for Graduate Students

Event Date:
Thursday, September 7, 2017 - 11:30am to 1:30pm EDT
Event Location:
Lakehead University Faculty Lounge

Dear Lakehead University Graduate Student:

Would you like to learn how to put your talent to work with an organization in Canada or travel overseas to conduct research?  Then Mitacs might just be the opportunity for you!

Mitacs offers a suite of research and training programs which enable companies (for example under Mitacs Accelerate)  to connect with top Canadian researchers.  As well, there are international research opportunities offered by Mitacs.  For example, as a student, you may be interested in the Globalink Research Award  which funds research collaborations between senior undergraduate and graduate students and faculty members at a university overseas.

Christine Macdonald, Director, Business Development & Team Lead - Ontario, Mitacs Inc., will be at Lakehead University on September 7  to deliver an information session on the various programs Mitacs offers for graduate students from 11:30 to 1:30 in the Faculty Lounge.  Pizza will be served starting at 11:30.

If you are interested in attending this session, please RSVP to ahacquo1@lakeheadu.ca by August 30.

See you then!
