 Full-time, up to three years in duration

Lakehead University, located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, is now accepting applications for a three-year post-doctoral fellowship, funded through an Early Researcher Award from the Province of Ontario’s Ministry of Research and Innovation. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a solid research background in epidemiology, occupational health, and/or public health, and a strong interest in workplace issues to join our team. A new Research Centre at Lakehead University is currently in development (The Research Institute for Enhancing Prevention of Injury & Disability (EPID)). The position will involve transdisciplinary collaborations with experts from the new Centre, the Institute for Work & Health in Toronto, Ontario and the Department of Health Sciences at Lakehead University.

The fellow will receive advanced training in epidemiological and biostatistical analyses and will develop excellent organizational, data management, and grant/manuscript writing skills. Responsibilities will include conducting and supervising statistical analyses and knowledge transfer activities, study coordination, supervision of personnel, and manuscript/grant preparations. Applicants must have completed a PhD in a relevant discipline.  Multiple-year appointment is dependent on satisfactory performance.
