MA Geography (Regina), 1997.
BA Hons Geography (Regina), 1992.

Previous Teaching/Work: 

During her fifteen years as a faculty member at Lakehead University, Rhonda has taught as an Associate Professor in the School of Outdoor Recreation and served as its Director for 5 years. She has occupied several other administrative positions, including: the Director of the Instructional Development Centre, Assistant Dean, and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Research Interests: 

Dr. Rhonda Koster is a rural geographer, with research interests centered on community development primarily through the lens of tourism. She has been fortunate enough to work with both Indigenous and settler communities within northwestern Ontario on projects that have been driven by their interests.
