Previous Teaching/Work: 

Alice den Otter is an Associate Professor at Lakehead University.  After teaching for ten years at the Thunder Bay campus in the Department of English, she has been teaching English and Inquiry courses in the Interdisciplinary Studies Department at the Orillia campus since 2006.  This year (2017-2018) she is teaching English 4010 FAO William Blake, English 2913 FAO - Introduction to Literary Theory, and English 2251 FAO - History of English Literature II.  She is also the Acting Chair for Interdisciplinary Studies and the contact person for the HBASc and BASc (Interdisciplinary Studies) College Transfer Programs.

She has edited a book called Relocating Praise: Literary Modalities and Rhetorical Contexts and she is currently writing a book on William Blake and Gift Exchange.
