Research Partners
The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining and Exploration will foster an inter-disciplinary environment encompassing all of Lakehead’s faculties. We are actively seeking partners from industry, government, academia and local communities, including First Nation and Métis groups.
We will be able to offer our partners access to:
- Workshops
- Research
- Training
- Interdisciplinary coordination of environmental, social and economic research
- Expertise and resources that address the complex issues surrounding mining development in the North
