On Friday, February 22, Kate Hartman, artist, technologist, and Director of the Digital Futures Graduate Program at OCAD University, will be delivering the opening keynote for Lakehead's 2019 Research & Innovation Week, the theme of which is "Rise of the Machines."
Prior to the keynote at 11:00, from 9:30-10:30 am, Kate will be available to meet with interested faculty, students, and community members in the Graduate Student Lounge, FB 2002 (CASES building). This is a great opportunity to share in an exchange of research and art ideas and to learn more about Kate and her work.
Professor Hartman works in the areas of wearable and mobile technology and her work would be especially of interest to students in visual art, computer science, and education. Coffee and donuts will be served.
