About the Event
A collaborative Lumina Concert will present New Music for Saxophone and Piano with visiting scholar Athanasios Zervas, alto saxophone, LU faculty member Evgeny Chugunov, piano and will include the premiere performance of Nightscape by LU faculty member Aris Carastathis, composer.
 
About the Participants
Dr. Athanasios Zervas, Professor of Music, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr. Zervas is a saxophone performer, composer, conductor, researcher and educator with extensive international activities. 
 
Dr. Evgeny Chugunov, Assistant Professor of Music, Lakehead University. Dr. Chugunov is a piano performer, educator and clinician with activities in Canada, the United States of America and Europe. 
 
Dr. Aris Carastathis, Professor of Music, Lakehead University. Dr. Carastathis is a composer, conductor and educator with performances of his compositions in North America, and many European countries.
