Vision of the Centre

The Green Process Research Centre (GPRC) will be a hub for local and international researchers working on cutting-edge green technologies that will develop new products with the aim of transforming Canadian industries to adopt new sustainable processes with green products that will protect the environment. With its focus on sustainability, the vision of GPRC is well aligned with the Strategic Research Priorities of Lakehead University including Advanced Systems and Technologies and the Environment and Natural Resources. As a hub that brings together local, national, and international researchers, the GPRC also fits well with Lakehead University’s internationalization mandate.
