All staff and faculty employed at Lakehead University are required to have a University Photo Identification Card while on campus.
If you are a faculty or staff member and do not already have a University Photo ID Card, you must go to Human Resources to get permission to acquire a Photo ID Card from the Library. Afterwards, you'll be directed to the Chancellor Paterson Library to have your card created for you. Make sure to bring with you government-issued photo identification to confirm your identity.
Please note that validation or expiry dates are not used on faculty or staff cards, but may be present on contract lecturer or part-time staff cards.
If you need to replace a lost or damaged card, you must again ask Human Resources to provide permission. There may be a $10.00 charge for replacement cards payable at the Chancellor Paterson Library.
PHOTO IDENTIFICATION BADGES
Staff working in public or service areas may be asked to wear photo identification badges identifying them as members of a University department. Badges differ from the Lakehead University Photo ID Cards in look and content.
Departments requesting badges must submit a badge order form through myInfo. Because departmental approval is required, individuals ordering a badge on their own behalf will not be accepted.
