The Royal Society (UK) International Exchange Scheme

Applications are being now accepted for Round 2 of the Standard Award scheme, which supports travel for new research collaborations with UK investigators working within the Royal Society’s remit of natural sciences, which includes but is not limited to biological research, chemistry, engineering, mathematics and physics. For a full list, please see the breakdown of subject groups and areas supported by the Royal Society.  Faculty members are eligible; in some cases, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows may be eligible.  Funding is dependent on the length of the visit: up to 3,000 pounds for one-off travel up to 3 months, up to 6,000 pounds for multiple visits within one year, and up to 12,000 pounds for multiple visits within 2 years.  For the multiple visit awards, travel must be bi-directional.
