Call for Applications: Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program 2022-23 - Internal Deadline November 18

How to Apply: 

The Global Affairs Canada Faculty Mobility for Partnership Building Program 2022-23 is now open for applications.  The program supports mobility of full-time Canadian faculty to partner institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean to pursue short-term research and/or teaching activities in Latin America and the Caribbean, as a means to advance institutional partnerships in research, student mobility, joint programming, capacity building, and other collaborative activities.  

The program provides grants of up to CAD 7,000 to support short-term (3 – 8 weeks) travel to develop and strengthen international collaborations in ELAP-eligible countries.  Funded activities include research, teaching, or a combination of research and teaching, as well as partnership development activities. 

To apply, complete the attached application form, budget template, and privacy statement.  A current CV and a letter of invitation from the host institution are also required. Applications must be submitted through the Institutional Coordinator, Jill Sherman, intl.research@lakeheadu.ca.  The internal deadline is November 18, 2021.   

Results will be announced in February 2022, for activities beginning April 1, 2022; all expenditures must be completed by March 31, 2023.
