CRCEF Stage 3 – Maintenance and Ramp-Up of Research Activities

Stage 3 was launched by TIPS at the beginning of September of 2020. Full details for this stage were confirmed at the beginning of October 2020.  Lakehead University, NOSM and TBRHRI undertook a data collection exercise, to identify eligible expenses and also issued an open call to the research community.  Several drop-in CRCEF Stage 3 webinars were hosted by Lakehead University’s Director, Research Services and Manager, Research Accounting.  Webinars were open to all researchers at Lakehead University and affiliated institutions.

Cleaning Supplies:

Researchers are responsible for purchasing cleaning supplies and maintaining cleaning standards in their laboratories and research/activity spaces.  To purchase university authorized cleaning supplies, please visit the Lakehead University Bookstore website:



Supervisors are responsible for obtaining PPE and CPE for their laboratories as needed. Orders may be placed with the Chemistry Storeroom CB 2039 (Thunder Bay Campus), following the protocols implemented by the Department of Chemistry. The Chemistry Storeroom will ship to Orillia.
