NSERC Alliance Program Information Session

Event Date:
Wednesday, November 20, 2019 - 9:00am to 11:00am EST
Event Location:
ATAC 5035 and OA2005

The recently-launched NSERC Alliance grants encourage university researchers (faculty members) to collaborate with partner organizations, which can be from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors. These grants support research projects led by collaborative teams that will generate new knowledge and accelerate the application of research results to create benefits for Canada.

On Wednesday, November 20th, Sarah O’Neill (Research & Innovation Development Officer) from NSERC will be visiting Lakehead University to deliver an information session on the new Alliance grants program (both Options 1 and 2).

The NSERC Alliance Information Session will be held from 9am - 11am in ATAC 5035. For faculty members wishing to participate from the Orillia campus, this workshop can be attended by Zoom in room OA2005.

In addition, Sarah will be available in the afternoon to meet with interested faculty members on a one- on-one basis to discuss specific projects or partnerships.

If you are interested in attending this workshop, or would like to schedule an individual meeting with Sarah, please contact Lexi Haslehurst at ahaslehu@lakeheadu.ca or x8290, by Monday, November 18th.
