The Change in Registration form should be used when online registration cannot be completed due to: not having the course pre-requisite, special departmental/chair/graduate coordinator/instructor permission is required, or course overload
If you want to change your Major to HBSc in Applied Biomolecular Science, you need to complete an application and email me to arrange a meeting.
Please bring a print-out of your transcript (print from My-Info). We will discuss the program requirements and figure out how the courses already completed ca be used towards the new Major.
Set up one-on-one Research Course
Use this form to request a one-on-one research course (Biology 3990, 3991, or Applied Life Science 4811, 4813). Submit the completed form signed by you and your course supervisor to the APLS Academic Advisor who will review and sign and then forward the form to the Chiar of Biology for signature.
Please note:
A maximum of 0.5 FCE per term and 1.0 FCE per calendar year can be taken from both "Special Topics" courses (such as Biology 3990, Biology 3991, Biology 4610, Biology 4630, Applied Life Science 4811, Applied Life Science 4813, Chemistry 4131, Chemistry 4191, Anthropology 3811, Anthropology 3813, Anthropology 3815, Anthropology 3817, Physics 4611, Biology 5111 and 5131 and research thesis courses (such as Biology 4101, Anthropology 4901, Physics 4501). Special permission may be granted by Chair of Biology.
