Lakehead University, Barrie Campus, invites applications for Contract Lecturers in the Department of Sustainability Sciences. Applications are requested to teach:

ENSU 1110 FAB – Plant Biology (Fall)

(Offered on campus.)

ENSU 1130 WAB – Animal Biology (Winter)

(Offered on campus)

Please note:  This schedule is tentative and subject to change.  Instructors should refer to the online timetable prior to the start of classes.

Start Date/Duration:   Fall Term: September 1- December 31, 2023

                                     Winter term:  January 1 – April 30, 2024

Location:  Barrie campus (no transportation will be paid)

Qualifications Preferred

PhD in Environmental Science, Biology, or Geography with teaching/research

experience in the relevant area at the post-secondary level. Candidates lacking

the specific degree qualification (e.g., ABD doctoral students), but who possess

an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications are

also encouraged to apply.  Experience with experiential learning and online or

alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
