The Faculty of Business Administration at Lakehead University is a small faculty with friendly, approachable professors committed to helping each student succeed. This is a small school with a student body usually ranging between 400 and 500 students annually, ensuring that there is time for individual attention. Students actually meet their professors outside of the classroom. All faculty maintain regular weekly office hours for just such personal contact.
Faculty are also active in the community, maintaining some degree of involvement with the local business community as well as administrators of larger local and regional institutions. Serving on boards, coordinating student projects, and occasionally offering consulting services has, over the course of the school's almost four decades, established strong and lasting links to Thunder Bay, Orillia, and their surrounding regions.
