Christmas is a magical time of year and a wonderful time to partake in some holiday traditions. Take a break from your exam stress and join us to experience some traditional Christmas Fun in a friendly competition.

Build your very own Gingerbread Bread House!  You can join as a team or individually and the gingerbread houses will be voted on to get a chance to win some merry prizes. Gingerbread House Making kits will be provided.

Join us on Dec 7th to create your very own personalised holiday card to send to your friends and/or family near and far. Our elves will be here taking polaroid photos of you by the Christmas tree, holiday cards and supplies provided, plus we will have hot cocoa and music!

You can mail your card or we can assist you with a digital copy to send to your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you and sharing some holiday cheer.

The Global ME Information Session is your first step toward your journey abroad. This session will provide information about Lakehead's amazing international partner institutions, funding opportunities, the application process, and much more. If you have been thinking about studying abroad we strongly encourage you to attend this session first!

Have you heard of a powwow? Do you want to explore local indigenous cultural dance styles? Powwows are indigenous dancing competitions held across North America from Mexico, through the US, to Canada. Come to join us for this fantastic event; we will have an instructor to guide you through the basic steps; no dancing experience is required! The only thing that is required is the openness to learn something new!

Let's go on a hiking trip from Centennial Park to Trowbridge Falls. We will enjoy a walk with our Lakehead peers in Centennial Park's Boreal Forest with fresh air, gorgeous fall colors, and multiple waterfalls, such as Trowbridge Falls and Sevigny Creek Falls. We will take a bus from Lakehead Agora at 10 am on 11 November to Centennial Park to begin our 2-hour natural hiking tour.
