Put your creative hat on and join our Diwali Celebrations by taking part in our colourful Rangoli (Mandala) competition which will be held in the Agora. The Rangoli will be voted on by fellow Lakehead students and the winning team will get an amazing prize. Please note that spots are limited for this competition.
- Each team can consist of 2-5 students. Rangoli Kits will be provided to students which include small bags of rice and food colours with instructions on how to dispose of them sustainably after the competition.
- Participating teams will have to use the food colours and the rice in the kits to make coloured rice which they can use to make the rangoli in the Agora hall.
- The kits can be picked up from the international office between October 25th and October 29th, 2021.
- Students will make the Rangoli at the Agora hall on November 1st, 2021.
- The rangoli will be displayed in the Agora from November 1st - November 5th.
- The winner will be selected based on the number of votes received by each rangoli. Students can cast their votes into the ballot boxes near the display.
