The Office of Human Rights and Equity celebrates International Women’s Day 2022

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #BreaktheBias

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of women to their respective fields, including achievements in the arts, sciences, economics, and politics. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of women to the advancement of civil and political rights to societies all around the world. 

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, the Office of Human Rights and Equity is proud to feature five outstanding women researchers within our Lakehead University community. These researchers range from graduate students to tenured professors and span the disciplines of social work to engineering.
