Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a tenure track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration. The academic rank of the appointment will be commensurate with the qualification of a successful candidate. The expected start date is January 1, 2023.
The Faculty of Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The position will involve an active program of scholarly research; teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance; supervision of Masters students’ research; and service contributions to the Faculty and the University.
Candidates will have a Ph.D. in Finance, or a related field (or be close to completion) from a university recognized by Canadian universities. Research and teaching experience in the areas of International Finance, Financial Institutions, Corporate Finance, and Investment is an asset. Experience with experiential learning, curriculum development, and online or alternative modes of course delivery is highly desired.
