CONTRACT LECTURER POSITION FALL 2020

The School of Nursing invites applications from qualified applicants to teach Nursing 2139 FDE, Gerontology. This is an online course, which will be taught over the Fall 2020 term. The course description is below:

The student will be provided with an in-depth examination of the aging process. Relevant concerns of the aged will be discussed and the student will examine a major concern as it relates to the elderly of Thunder Bay. The focus is on the normal aspects of aging, although problem areas will be discussed as they relate to students' interests and needs.

The successful applicant will have a nursing graduate degree and evidence of teaching and student evaluation experience. Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative models of delivery are highly desired. Further advanced educational credentials will also be considered.
