Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management. Applicants are requested to teach:

Fish & Wildlife Practice, NRMT-4251-FA for the Fall session of 2020

Course description for Fish & Wildlife Practice: Practical aspects of decision-making in the practice of fish and wildlife management for students who want to increase their depth of understanding in these areas. Labs will illustrate and investigate techniques that provide data for management decisions.

This course is conducted in 3:3 format for lectures and labs.

Start Date/Duration: (Sept. 1 – Dec. 31, 2020) - Schedule TBD

Qualifications Preferred:  PhD in Forestry, Ecology, Environmental Studies or related field, understanding of Canadian plants species, understanding of forest ecology, and relevant teaching experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
