The Department of Women’s Studies, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for Contract Lecturers. Applications are requested for teaching one or more of the following courses for the 2020-2021 Academic Year:

WOME-1100-YA (Madonna to Madonna: Women's and Gender Studies)

WOME-2113-FA (Women, Popular Culture and Counter Culture) (Evening course)

WOME-2111-WA (Special Topics: applicants propose their own topic)

WOME-3033-FA (Transnational Masculinities)

WOME-4010-FA (Women, Gender, and Social Justice) (Daytime 3hr course)

WOME-4110-WA (Special Topics: applicants propose their own topic) (Daytime 3hr course)

 

Minimum Qualifications: A relevant M.A. and related teaching experience

Ideal Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Women’s Studies with teaching experience and record of peer-reviewed research.

The electronic application should include: a cover letter outlining qualifications, curriculum vitae, documentation demonstrating teaching effectiveness (including a statement of teaching philosophy, course outlines and teaching evaluations for previously-taught courses), and contact information of three references.
