The Department of Biology at Lakehead University requests applications from an experienced lecturer to teach the following course:
Biology 2910 WA – Laboratory Biology
(Winter Term: January to April 2019)
Thunder Bay Campus
Introduction to basic laboratory techniques: pipetting, preparation of media, aseptic technique, cell disruption, protein purification and analysis, electrophoresis, and chromatography. Development of skills in such areas as: laboratory note-keeping, reporting, graphical presentation of data, and information searching.
Lecture: Monday, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., CB 3012
Lab: Monday, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., CB 3012
Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred and experience in teaching
