Tenure Track Faculty Positions - Thunder Bay Campus

Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies. The academic rank of the appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate. The position will commence August 1, 2018.

Applications are invited from outstanding candidates in Computer Science with a strong research focus in the broad category with specialization in one or more of the following areas: Computer game programming, visualization and computer graphics, human-computer interaction, parallel and high performance computing, databases, algorithm analysis and design, artificial intelligence, cyber security.

The successful candidate is expected to support our spectrum of undergraduate and graduate teaching needs including computer graphics, along with initiating an externally funded research program, and contributing to the supervision of graduate students in our MSc. Program.  Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related area.
