The Faculty of Natural Resources Management, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus is seeking a Contract Lecturer for Marketing of Forest Products, NRMT-4271-WA for the Winter session of 2017 (Jan. 11 – Apr. 30, 2017).
Course description for Marketing of Forest Products:
An introduction to the basic marketing principles. The course will help students learn the concepts for conducting market research and developing marketing intelligence for the forestry sector.
This course is conducted in 3:0 format for lectures.
Qualifications of applicant should include: Master’s degree in Forestry, Business Administration, Ecology, Environmental Studies or related field, understanding of the various North American and global trade arrangements in place (or proposed), appreciation for opportunities and threats with traditional as well as new product lines for import/export. Must be able to present domestic and international case-studies for innovate market strategies
