|How do I find a tutor for an individual course?|
The Academic Support Zone offers free program-based tutoring for the first and second year of most programs. This means that the tutor will be able to answer most questions from a variety of courses within a program area.
Students who want a course tutor or private tutoring can hire tutors from the Tutor Registry, which will be found on mysuccess.lakeheadu.ca. This registry is continuously updated as students add their names and credentials to it. for a private tutor, you will make your own arrangements to meet and pay the tutor. Lakehead University does not take responsibility for this transaction. Don't want to pay? Come to the Academic Zone and take advantage of the free academic supports there!

Thank you for your interest! Please add yourself to the Tutor Registry on mySuccess.
If you are looking to tutor group sessions through the Zone, we generally seek undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year. Tutors are nominated by their departments and must be exemplary students who are able to help first and second year students in the courses normally taken for an academic program.
