WHO NEEDS A STUDENT CARD?

  • All students require a Photo ID Card while on campus.
  • New students must acquire their Cards in accordance with the instructions and information provided herein.
  • Returning students do not need a new Photo ID Card unless their current Card is lost, stolen, or damaged.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Before your Photo ID Card can be provided, you must present photo identification such as, Driver’s License, Passport or Canadian government issued document with your picture ID and name information on the document.

Students must be registered for classes prior to requesting an ID Card. All registered student information is downloaded into the Photo ID System. If your name and student number cannot be found in the Photo ID System, you must present a Lakehead University registration document with your name and student number on it, as proof of registration. Or, you can get a Photo ID Permit form from Enrolment Services.
