Welcome Current Students!

To help pay for your education, consider applying for the following in-course bursary opportunities.

General Bursary Information

What is a bursary?

A bursary is a monetary award made by an institution to individuals or groups of people who demonstrate financial need.

A bursary application does not take into account a students academic average however all students applying must be maintaining the minimum course average requirements in order to be considered.

Many of the bursaries available to Lakehead students are made possible by our generous donors. These bursaries are provided to help cover the costs of tuition and supplies as part of our commitment to the Student Access Guarantee.

Student Awards and Financial Aid reserves the right to determine a student's eligibility for any donor-funded bursary as determined by the donors' wishes.
