Originally from Calgary, Sabah now calls Thunder Bay home.
Sabah completed her placement with Toronto Public Health. Here she had an opportunity to recommend policy changes in order to reduce systemic barriers faced by racialized minorities and immigrants in our healthcare system.As a Graduate Assistant working with Dr. Lori Chambers, Sabah explored the experiences of Muslim women in Canada. On July 16th Sabah published the findings from this research.
Committed to causes that seek to empower women, Sabah hopes to continue making a positive impact by working with immigrant, racialized and Indigenous community members.
