Congratulations to Dr. Roger Mitchell of Geology Department who was honoured with a Citizens of Exceptional Achievement Award by the City of Thunder Bay.

Congratulations to Dr. Roger Mitchell!  Honoured with an Exceptional Achievement Award by the Council and Citizens of the City of Thunder Bay on April 27, 2015.

Dr. Mitchell is being recognized for his ground-breaking work in mineralogy and being honoured with the new mineral species named "rogermitchellite".
