Ontario Master Naturalist Certificate Program - Winter Session
The Winter 2023 certificate program includes eight learning modules taught in a hybrid model, including interactive powerpoints, videos created for the program, community resources, a virtual trailhead meeting space, and weekly Zoom webinars with our coordinator and instructor, Bob Bowles.
The eight learning modules are as follows: Geology & Anthropology, Mammals, Plants, Birds, Reptiles & Amphibians, Wetlands, Invasive Species, and Insects.
While this program does include live weekly webinars, it can also be completed asynchronously. The weekly webinars with the program's content experts are recorded and posted to the online course site, allowing for students to go back and review the recordings on their own time.
Please email cell@lakeheadu.ca if you are interested in viewing a course outline.
Cancellation policy: In the case of cancellation, we will offer a refund up to three weeks prior to the start of the program. A $50 administrative fee will be incurred for administration.
Please note that this program runs for 9 weeks from January 12-March 16. We will skip the week of Family Day (February 23).
Thank you for your interest in this program. Registration is now closed. To be added to the waitlist, please email cell@lakeheadu.ca
