The summer sedge season is exceptional, and summer sedges are even more numerous and robust than those found earlier in the year.  This workshop will not only cover habitats and species differentiation, but also allow for participants who participate in both spring and summer workshops to appreciate the breadth and complexity of sedges from both seasons.

Participants will meet for a Zoom webinar on Monday, July 5 at 7 pm before heading out over the week to find, sketch, and photograph sedges for our discussion on Sunday, July 11 at 7 pm. This workshop can be paired with the Spring Sedges workshop for further depth of engagement.

PowerPoint presentations, video, Flipgrid, and other materials will be provided prior to the synchronous webinar. The workshop will be delivered to you using Zoom technology. You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone with speakers, reliable access to the internet and an email address. Technical support will be provided.

Price for this workshop is $79 (plus HST).
