Orillia Campus Principal 

The Principal of Lakehead University’s Orillia campus reports to the President of the University and is responsible for overseeing academic and administrative operations at the Orillia campus, ensuring alignment with the University’s strategic and academic plans.  The Principal represents a key link between the Orillia campus and the University’s leadership and is responsible for ensuring the effective integration of all University activities. 

Working collaboratively with the University’s executive team, the Principal represents Lakehead University in Simcoe County and supports the University’s international and economic development initiatives.


Associate Vice-President, Lakehead University Orillia

The Associate Vice-President reports to the Orillia Campus Principal and to the Vice-President, Administration and Finance, and is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions at the campus and for coordinating and supporting community programs.

Administrative functions include: Ancillary Services (Residence & Conference Services, Food Services, Bookstore), Financial Services, Technology Services, Security and Parking, Physical Plant, Office of Human Resources, and the Office of Risk Management and Access to Information.

Community Programs under the direction of the Associate V.P. include all community outreach activities, such as Humanities 101, the Ontario Master Naturalist Program and community speaker series. The Associate V.P. is also responsible for nurturing and supporting community initiatives such as the YMCA Leadership program and other community partnership programs.
