GEOG 2232-Introdcution to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Geomatic students, Geography Club, Lakehead Applied Geomatics Research Laboratory and the Department of Geography and the Environment will celebrate innovative applications of GIS technology in analysis, visualization, gaining insights into geospatial data, on November 16, 2022.
We understand that there is a need to promote GIS awareness, education, and technical training to use this rapidly developing technology to its full potential and we are proud of our achievements in the field so far, which GIS Day is meant to showcase.
